This Is My Story

My journey has been focused around managing anxiety (though I didn't realize it at first) and coming back from injury.
Taking care of my mind and body is top priority for me. If I let my sleep slide, eat kinda crappy, sit on my ass too much, and overschedule myself then I'm more anxious, my body gets achy, and I feel more stressed. The longer I ignore my mind and body telling me...
"HEY CHICK SLOW DOWN! Eat some spinach and blackberries or something! Drink some water and take a walk!"
the worse I feel and the less capacity I have to show up at my best. Once I prioritize my needs things flow much better. I achieve this through daily movement, balanced nutrition, good sleep, and purposeful self-care.

For over a decade I've immersed myself in the world of health and wellness starting with my Bachelor's in Health Sciences which was followed up by several different certifications listed below. I am a forever student! I'm passionate about health and wellness because I know that so many health conditions and issues-even anxiety- can be avoided or made more manageable simply through exercise, better nutrition, and overall improved self-care. I see this in my family, in the clients I've worked with, and even in myself. My goal is to help you take back your health AND your life!
